New and Improved!

It’s a new year and Robertson ImageCraft has made some big changes - hopefully for the better. Some of these upgrades have been long overdue while others only recently presented themselves. Are you ready to take notes?

A New Look

For 2011, Robertson ImageCraft has a new logo and a new website. For the next few days, our .com address isn’t working, but you can use www.rimagecraft.info in the meantime. We’ll let you know when the .com is working again, but both addresses lead to the same website.

The website (including the logo) are a new, fresh look for us. We’ve wanted this type of website for awhile but, until now, lacked the time and skills to make it happen. We’re pretty pleased with it and hope you will be too. It’s an all-Flash site, so our iPhone/iPad friends may have some trouble. Sorry.

A New Number

We also have a new phone number: 417-501-4527. You can call or text this number 24/7. If we aren’t available, there’s an honest-to-goodness voicemail system that sends both of us updates and logs your call for future reference. And you won’t have to worry about catching Hal while he’s shuttling kids around the city. Of course, the old number still works, but update your address book when you can.

New Ordering System

Starting now, you can access our new ordering system via the ‘Clients’ button on the website. From there, you can log in securely, view your online proofs, create and send an order. This applies to new shoots from this year for now - it’s a work in progress. Prints still ship to us and we’ll let you know when they’re in.

We’re Social!

Our Facebook and Twitter pages, along with this blog are all incorporated in the new website. You’ll find the buttons below our new logo. Just click on them to follow us all over the Internet. We’re a little ashamed to say we don’t really ‘get’ Twitter yet, but we’re working on it. If you’re a big Twitter fan, let us know how we can improve this feature for our clients and friends.

Enough For Now

Hal has struggled for days trying to get the Internet hosting and domain name situation straightened out. As you know, he’s not exactly an amateur with these kinds of things, but this time, it’s really thrown him a curve. If you’re looking for website hosting, he knows the name of a company or two you DON’T want to use.

Hopefully, these are enough changes for now. We’ll have new business cards soon too. If you would like some to hand out, just let us know. Don’t forget to use www.rimagecraft.info for the next few days and, if you like what you see, send a link to your friends. We’d love to meet them this year.
